Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to act as the meaningful first touchpoint and facilitate a smooth flow between clinical services and retail teams. You will greet patients, answer inquiries, gather information for sales, and support eyewear services in a fast-paced store environment.

You will collaborate with the retail and professional services teams, schedule tests, document history, perform tests and assist with repairs and lens work while maintaining brand standards and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport and empathize with patients.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset and collaborative team player.
• Driven by results, able to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests and basic eye measurements.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Assist in lens edging, assembly, and timely delivery of eyeglasses.
• Ensure lab area brand standards and report equipment issues.
• Track delivery times to patients to meet promises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
