Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to be the friendly first touchpoint for patients at our on-site store location. You will deliver outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and support a seamless flow between our clinical services team and the retail staff.

You will greet guests, collect information, perform pre-tests, coordinate appointments, and assist with patient communication while upholding our brand standards and delivering a positive patient experience at every visit.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with the patients.
• Problem solving and proactive approach to address patients' concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful relationships with your team and patients.
• Results-driven with multitasking and flexibility in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and manage appointments, collect patient history, and perform pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient complaints resolution and keep status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and basic housekeeping in the store.
• Assemble lenses and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses.
• Notify management of equipment issues or incomplete orders in the lab area.
• Monitor delivery times to patients to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
