Job summary

Stanton Optical is hiring a Doctor’s Technician to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of care and support smooth transitions between clinical and retail teams. You will greet patients, gather information, conduct basic pre-tests and help with promotions of eyewear and services.

The role emphasizes effective communication, empathy, multitasking in a fast-paced store, and collaboration with the clinical services group to ensure patient satisfaction and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and handling potential concerns or objections.
• Collaborative spirit with a respectful, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs and promote available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient history and perform basic pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and lab area upkeep, ensuring timely delivery of eyeglasses.
• Edge stock lenses and assemble frames to expedite orders; monitor equipment and notify of issues.
