Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide exceptional customer service at our on-site store, guiding patients through pre-test procedures and promoting available eyewear and services. You will support the clinical and retail teams to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, speed and delivering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or advanced certification required.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and handling potential patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful teamwork in a clinical-retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient information in the system.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and status updates.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping in store and lab areas.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Monitor delivery times and ensure 100% schedule adherence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
