Responsibilities

• Registers and pre-registers patients with accurate demographic, insurance, and eligibility information in the EHR.
• Performs patient check-in and supports self-check-in processes, including confirming arrival and collecting co-pays.
• Manages clinic communications via phone, text, and fax; monitors appointment confirmations.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments across service lines per protocol.
• Verifies insurance and eligibility; communicates with care team to support flow and patient experience.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to SEARHC Standards of Service Excellence.
