Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Care Coordinator to support physicians by handling clerical and patient-facing tasks, registering new patients in the EMR, and ensuring timely access to records before visits. You will greet patients, take vitals, document assessments, coordinate appointments, and help maintain HIPAA compliance while delivering exceptional patient service.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in the EMR prior to appointment scheduling and ensure all demographics and insurance data are complete.
• Ensure all initial consultations, notes, lab slips, radiology and pathology reports are available to the physician before patient arrival.
• Greet patients, room patients, take vitals and record assessments for physician review.
• Enter orders and E-Prescribe information; create clinical visit summaries; schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
