Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a Care Coordinator to perform clerical and patient-service functions in a physician office setting. You will register new patients in the EMR, gather demographics and insurance details, and ensure all required notes and reports are ready for the physician.

You will greet patients, assist in rooming, record vitals and assessments, and help coordinate referrals and follow-ups to maintain seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in the EMR prior to scheduling, including demographics and insurance.
• Ensure all notes, labs, and reports are available to the physician before arrival.
• Greet, room, take vitals, and record assessments for physician review.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and continuity of care across departments.
