Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine in Phoenix is seeking a Care Coordinator to perform clerical and patient service duties in a physician office. You will register patients, prepare charts, and ensure clinicians have all necessary documents for visits.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vitals, documenting assessments, processing orders, and coordinating follow-ups and referrals. A high level of confidentiality and strong communication skills are required to deliver a superior patient

Qualifications

• Experience in medical settings is required.
• 1–2 years of experience recommended.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in EMR with demographics and insurance information.
• Ensure physicians have all notes, labs, radiology before patient arrival.
• Assist with patient intake, vitals, and charting for physician review.
• Schedule follow-ups and coordinate referrals and tests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients, families and staff.
