Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Practice Coordinator to serve as the public face of the Practice and support operations across administrative, clinical, and management teams.

The role involves handling CRM messages, referrals, in-baskets, scheduling, and billing tasks while ensuring accurate information flow between medical staff and departments to maximize unit efficiency. Flexibility to work across UCSF campuses is required.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and experience with Office-type software programs.
• Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, and develop solutions.
• Experience navigating multiple patient records systems and MyChart/APeX is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication both over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Represents administrative team as the public face of the Practice.
• Supports practice operations and customer service recovery/intervention.
• Handles CRM messages, telephone encounters, referrals, and billing tasks.
• Ensures accurate information flow between medical staff and departments to maximize unit efficiency.
• Must be able to work at any UCSF campus as needed.
