Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients at our on-site store and support the seamless flow between clinical services and the retail team. You will provide outstanding customer service while aiding sales and ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will conduct pre-tests, collect necessary information, and help schedule appointments, tests and orders. Collaboration with management, lab duties, and accurate record-keeping are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification is required or pursued.
• Two or more years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathetic interaction with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and facilitate sales.
• Foster collaboration between the retail and clinical services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and document patient history in the system.
• Assist with patient inquiries, resolve issues and ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Maintain brand standards and assist with basic housekeeping and lab duties.
