Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the friendly first touchpoint in-store, guiding patients from clinical to retail services. You will greet customers, facilitate exams and eyewear orders, and help maintain a smooth patient flow.

In this on-site role, you will support sales, coordinate appointments, complete pre-tests, and assist with repairs and frame edging while upholding brand standards and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Associate degree or higher, or current enrollment in a related program.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, empathy, and rapport-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and flexible multitasking in a team.
• Collaborative, respectful attitude and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and promote available services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule/confirm appointments and enter patient history and tests.
• Assist management with complaint resolution and status updates.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and lab area checks.
• Edge stock and assemble lenses to expedite delivery and accuracy.
• Monitor delivery times to ensure on-time patient service.
• Other duties as assigned.
