Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the friendly, first point of contact in-store, guiding patients through the visit and facilitating sales between retail and clinical teams.

You will greet patients, perform pre-tests, and help coordinate appointments while upholding brand standards and delivering a seamless patient experience. This role emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathizing with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identifying needs and promoting products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and run pre-tests/tests as required.
• Assist management with patient complaints and ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Assist with selecting lenses, edging, and timely delivery of eyeglasses.
