Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to deliver outstanding customer service and support the seamless flow between clinical services and retail teams. You will greet patients, facilitate sales, and coordinate pre-tests as part of a focused patient experience.

You will collaborate with store leadership to maintain brand standards, manage appointments, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, while embracing a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy.
• Proactive problem solving for patient concerns.
• Collaborative, respectful teamwork.
• Results-driven with multitasking and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and document patient history; perform pre-tests and standard eye tests.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and update status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping.
• Assemble lenses into frames, edge stock lenses, and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor lab area for quality and report equipment malfunctions.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure 100% on-time service.
• Other duties as assigned.
