Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to welcome patients at the storefront, guide them through services, and coordinate between retail and clinical teams. You will assist with pre-tests, enter patient data, and help ensure smooth patient flow and timely delivery of eyewear.

You will support sales, maintain brand standards, and resolve issues while working with a dynamic team in a fast-growing optical retailer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem-solving and addressing patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful relationships with team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, present promotional products and services, and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-test procedures.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and update on job status.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping in store and lab areas.
• Edge lenses and assemble frames to expedite delivery and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Notify management of equipment issues, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
