Job summary

Stanton Optical is a fast-growing optical retailer currently seeking a Doctor’s Technician in Cypress, Texas. You will greet customers, provide outstanding service, and help facilitate sales while ensuring a smooth transition between our clinical services and retail teams.

Requirements include an associate degree or higher certification and 2+ years of customer service experience. You will perform basic pre-tests, enter patient history, assist with repairs, and help deliver eyeglasses on time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher certification required or current enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and perform basic tests and screenings.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure timely status updates on orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyewear.
• Report equipment issues or order discrepancies in the lab area.
• Adhere to delivery timelines and perform other duties as assigned.
