Job summary

Stanton Optical seeks a patient-focused team member to greet customers, facilitate sales, and bridge retail and clinical services. You will manage appointments, collect history, and perform basic tests to ensure a smooth experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and delivering on promises in a busy optical store.

You will help maintain brand standards, assist with lens assembly, and keep the store tidy while supporting patient satisfaction and timely delivery of eyewear.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school or current enrollment.
• At least 2+ years delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Use active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and teamwork in a fast paced store.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and promote products and services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, input patient history, and perform pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient concern resolution and status updates.
• Maintain brand standards with lab and store housekeeping duties.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock, and ensure on-time delivery of eyeglasses.
• Monitor delivery times to meet customer commitments and standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
