Job summary

EMR and MS Office proficiency is preferred to ensure accurate documentation and efficient office

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of administrative or customer service experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; EMR and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appointment schedule and communicate changes to staff.
  • Coordinate front desk operations and check-in processes to ensure efficient service.
  • Answer phone lines, take messages, and direct callers appropriately.
  • Process pre-authorizations as required by insurers.
  • Maintain electronic medical records.
  • Handle mail, faxes, and office communications.
  • Collect and reconcile co-pays and cash drawers in Epic.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings.
  • Interact professionally with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide cross-coverage and assist physicians as needed.
  • Chaperone duties for procedures when required.
