Job summary

Healogics Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services LLC is seeking a Patient Navigator to support front-office operations at a wound care center. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, enter charges, and coordinate tests and transportation as part of a care continuum.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and confidentiality in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Prior medical coding experience is a plus and the position involves generally routine patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and manage front-desk communications, scheduling and reminders.
• Enter patient insurance, pre-certifications and charges; maintain charts.
• Coordinate ancillary testing and patient transportation.
• Maintain office equipment and supplies; perform other duties as required.
