Job summary

Healogics LLC is seeking a Patient Navigator to support a busy outpatient wound care center. The role focuses on front office operations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry, ensuring smooth daily operations and patient flow within the clinic.

The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced medical environment. Experience in medical coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2+ years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, and route to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information including pre-certifications/pre-authorizations.
• Enter and reconcile patient charges in databases; prepare monthly survey data.
• Assemble and file patient charts, maintain data accuracy and signatures.
• Coordinate/arrange ancillary testing with other hospital departments.
• Arrange patient transportation as needed and maintain office equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
