Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support front office functions at an outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, manage scheduling and reminders, and handle insurance information and data entry to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality. Prior medical coding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two or more years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls to staff.
• Schedules and coordinates patient appointments, reminders, and provider scheduling.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
