Job summary

Healogics LLC seeks a Patient Navigator to support a dynamic outpatient wound care center. You will coordinate front office activities, greet patients, manage scheduling and reminders, and enter data in databases.

The role involves assisting with insurance pre-certifications and coordinating patient testing and transportation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of medical office experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls to staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling and reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information including pre-certifications.
