Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Navigator to support the outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, manage scheduling and communications, verify insurance, and enter charges in databases to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will coordinate with leadership and other departments to optimize daily census, arrange testing, transportation, and maintain chart integrity while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, route calls to staff, and manage front desk activities.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enter data in databases and collect patient charges; reconcile as directed.
• Assemble and file patient charts; coordinate/schedule ancillary testing with hospital departments.
• Maintain office equipment and supplies; support staff of the Wound Care Center.
