Job summary

Providence Health & Services is hiring Patient Care Coordinators for Portland metro clinics. You will be the first point of contact, delivering excellent patient and visitor service while coordinating between patients, providers and care teams to ensure a smooth experience.

You will perform scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and maintain accurate EMR documentation in EPIC. Join a supportive team in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting across multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in medical/healthcare setting.
• Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
• Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence's mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
