Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to manage front office functions and support a dynamic outpatient wound care center. The role requires coordinating patient scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry while ensuring confidentiality and excellent service.

You will work within CMS guidelines and hospital policies to support staff and patients. The position emphasizes strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; medical coding experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good customer, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate front office functions to maximize daily patient census.
• Participate in staff meetings to support Center functions.
• Greet patients and visitors and route calls to staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders; assist providers with care continuum.
• Enter patient insurance information, pre-certifications, and pre-authorizations in systems.
• Enter and reconcile patient charges; prepare monthly survey data.
