Job summary

Healogics, LLC. seeks a Clinical Patient Navigator to support front office and clinical workflows in a busy outpatient wound care center. You will manage patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry under RN/provider supervision.

The role requires CMA/EMT/CNA credentials, 2+ years of medical office administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication to maintain efficient patient care and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant, EMT or CNA credentials approved by CAAHEP/ABHES.
  • Current CMA, CNA or EMT certification licensed in state of employment.
  • Minimum of two years' medical office administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
  • Greet patients, answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments.
  • Verify patient insurance, pre-certifications, and enter data in databases.
  • Enter patient charges and reconcile as directed; prepare monthly survey data.
  • Assemble/maintain patient charts and manage documentation.
  • Coordinate ancillary testing and patient transportation as needed.
  • Support RN/Provider with clinical tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with team and maintain confidentiality.
