Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a Care Coordinator to perform clerical and patient-facing duties in a physician-owned neurosurgery and spine care practice. You will register patients in the EMR, gather demographics and insurance information, and prepare the physician with all necessary notes and reports.

The role requires 1–2 years in a medical setting, strong communication, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree is a plus. A comprehensive benefits package is included with the position.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in EMR and schedule appointments.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain patient records and ensure physician has all reports.
• Greet and room patients, take vitals, and record assessments.
• Prepare clinic with lead coordinator and assist with orders as needed.
• Coordinate referrals, imaging, labs, and follow-ups.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
• Provide coverage for other positions as requested.
