Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a patient liaison to support customer service, equipment deliveries, and hospital outreach. You will assist with verifying insurance benefits, communicating patient financial responsibilities, and collecting payments using AdaptHealth tools.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to educate patients and caregivers on equipment use while maintaining HIPAA compliance. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in home state.
• Healthcare/administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent AdaptHealth professionally with patients, referral sources, and hospital personnel.
• Process equipment orders and ensure proper delivery and paperwork.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use.
• Initiate insurance verification and communicate patient financial responsibility.
• Promote products and services during hospital rounds and referrals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
