Job summary

AdaptHealth in the United States is seeking a Patient Liaison to support customers, deliver and educate patients on home medical equipment, and assist with insurance verifications and billing communications.

You will process orders, schedule deliveries, collect payments, train patients and caregivers, promote services in hospitals and facilities, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, professional service. It may require driving to facilities and coordinating with care teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in health care, admin, insurance, or customer services.
• Experience with DME, diabetes or incontinence sales is a plus.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install hospital equipment and teach patients how to use it.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and communicate financial responsibility.
• Process orders, collect payments, and manage required paperwork.
• Promote AdaptHealth products and services during hospital visits and rounds.
