Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support customer service, equipment deliveries to patients in hospitals, and related marketing activities. You will verify insurance benefits, communicate financial responsibilities, and collect payments using AdaptHealth tools.

You will train patients on equipment use, coordinate deliveries, and ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA and company policies. Requires valid driver’s license and healthcare-related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare, administrative, insurance, customer services, or management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.
• DME, Diabetes, Incontinence Sales experience is the exact job experience considered.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of AdaptHealth policies and procedures applicable to this position.
• Represent AdaptHealth professionally with patients, referral sources, and hospital staff.
• Maintain and grow revenue from hospital/facility orders.
• Develop knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility, and patient reimbursement.
• Fulfill equipment orders and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and correctly documented.
• Deliver/pick up supplies and equipment in a courteous, timely manner.
