Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support hospital deliveries and home equipment services. You will educate patients and caregivers on device use, verify insurance benefits, and communicate financial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of work experience in health care, administrative, insurance, customer service, or management.
• Experience in DME, diabetes, incontinence sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and service hospital/facility orders for home medical equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and communicate financial responsibility.
• Process payments and collect amounts due using electronic tools.
• Obtain required signatures and document delivery details accurately.
• Promote products and services during clinical rounds and with referral sources.
• Coordinate with departments to manage delivery costs and optimize service.
