Job summary

Providence seeks an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in the Portland metro area to be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, registration, and insurance verification while coordinating with care teams. This role emphasizes patient-focused service and efficient front/back-office support within EPIC systems.

Qualifications

6 months of Customer service related experience.
6 months of Office experience, preferably in a medical office.
6 months of Electronic Medical Record experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person or by phone.
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence’s mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
