Job summary

Providence Health & Services - Oregon is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first contact for patients and visitors, both in person and by phone. You will liaise between patients and care teams to ensure a smooth experience, handling scheduling, registration and insurance verification within EPIC.

The role involves learning front and back-office duties and supporting routine healthcare services to help clinic operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

6 months of Customer service experience.
6 months of Office experience, preferably in a medical office.
6 months of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence’s mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
