Chesapeake Urology is seeking a Clinical Patient Support Representative to blend Medical Assistant and Front Desk tasks across clinical offices. You will support providers, prepare rooms, and manage patient flow with care and professionalism.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Front office and clinical experience; preferably in Urology.
• Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology; ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Record patient medical history and vital signs.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization of equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors; manage the front desk and scheduling.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing questions; collect payments.
• Enter patient demographics into Practice Management and EMR; scan licenses and insurance cards.
• Ensure referrals are obtained, scanned, and linked in EMR; assist with Phreesia registration.
