Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at our Missouri clinic. You will greet patients, collect payments, check in demographics and insurance, and schedule follow-up visits for prosthetic and orthotic care.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with care. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience with medical front office procedures is a plus.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Patient Reception: Greet and assist patients at the front desk.
• Patient Intake: Verify demographics and insurance during check-in.
• Financial Transactions: Collect deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate follow-up appointments and care plans.
• Patient Support: Liaise with clinic services and patient resources.
• Administrative Assistance: Support Revenue Cycle Management with patient info.
• Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate electronic health records.
