Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk/receptionist to ensure a seamless patient and staff experience at our Florida clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and help coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care plans.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office preferred.
• Strong communication, computer skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide wait time information.
• Verify demographics and insurance during check-in; handle registrations.
• Collect payments (deductibles, copays, co-insurance) at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments including casts, measurements, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
