Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and schedule follow-ups, while supporting clinic operations and patient services.

The role requires strong communication, computer proficiency, and experience in medical front office procedures. A valid driver’s license is needed, with potential for growth within a nationwide O&P leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide information on wait times and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including casting, measurement, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services, information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
