Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless experience for patients and staff at our Michigan clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, process payments, and help schedule prosthetic care appointments.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and experience in medical front office procedures, with proficiency in Windows and MS Office. A valid driver's license may be required for certain locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in receptionist roles or medical front office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at front desk.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance details at check-in.
• Process payments and collect deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate casts, measurements, and prosthetic care plans.
• Support clinic services and coordinate with Revenue Cycle Management.
