Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator based in Clearwater to support physicians in delivering complex health services in the clinic. You will greet patients, check them in, and ensure timely preparation for appointments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in a healthcare setting or customer service.
• Prior experience in podiatric/orthopedic practice is a plus.
• Medical billing and coding experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working with EMR systems, Athenahealth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk receptionist duties: greeting patients, answering calls, collecting patient information, and keeping entrance area organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Notify physicians when patients have arrived to maintain on-time schedules.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients.
• Update patient information in EMR and scan documents.
• Manage office supplies inventory.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy of records.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
