Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or in a healthcare clinic.
• Prior podiatric or orthopedic exposure preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience preferred.
• Experience with Athenahealth EMR preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team member with a stable work history.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Front desk receptionist duties: greet patients, check them in, collect required information.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time appointment schedules by notifying physicians when patients arrive.
• Retrieve and file patient records and collect payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scan documents into EMR.
• Manage office supplies inventory.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
