Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical/dental terminology and office procedures
• Effective approaches to customer service delivery
• Modern medical office and computer systems and applications, especially MS Word, Outlook
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records and Electronic Practice Management systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and register patients in the electronic system
• Verify program eligibility and determine payment source
• Collect payments and operate cash register
• Hear and resolve patient complaints while remaining professional
• Assist with appointment scheduling and coordination
• Receive and route messages and documents to staff
• Enter data into medical records and assist patients with forms
• Operate standard office equipment and maintain inventory of supplies
