Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a patient-focused team member to greet customers, support sales, and coordinate between retail and clinical services. You will assist with pre-tests, history intake, and basic eye measurements in a fast-paced store environment.

You will collaborate with management to resolve patient issues, maintain brand standards, and help with lens processing to ensure timely delivery. A baseline associate degree and 2+ years of customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive, solution-oriented problem solving.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful teamwork.
• Results-driven with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to create an easy, memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient history, and perform pre-tests and basic eye measurements.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping in store and lab areas.
• Assist with lens edging and quick delivery of eyeglasses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Notify management of equipment issues or order problems in the lab and store.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure 100% on-time performance.
