Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison in the United States to support customers, coordinate equipment deliveries, and assist with insurance verifications and billing inquiries. You will engage with patients, hospital staff, and referral sources to ensure accurate orders and timely service.

You will educate patients on equipment use, collect payments, and promote AdaptHealth products and services during hospital rounds and in-home visits. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• One year of healthcare/administrative experience required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of AdaptHealth policies and procedures.
• Represent AdaptHealth professionally with patients and hospital staff.
• Maintain and increase revenue from hospital/facility orders.
• Develop knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility, and reimbursement.
• Fulfill equipment orders with correct delivery instructions and paperwork.
• Deliver/pick up supplies and equipment in a courteous, timely manner.
• Trains and educates patients and caregivers on equipment use.
