Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support hospital-based deliveries and patient education across our home medical equipment network. You will ensure timely equipment delivery, assist with insurance verification, explain billing responsibilities, and maintain high-quality customer service with patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, insurance, customer service, or management experience.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up hospital equipment and supplies.
• Explain equipment use and maintenance to patients.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate patient financial responsibility.
• Process payments and collect amounts due.
• Promote products and services to hospital staff.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and compliance.
