Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support hospital and home delivery coordination, patient education, and insurance verification. You will handle equipment orders, collect payments, and ensure accurate documentation while promoting AdaptHealth services.

You will work with hospital staff and patients to deliver compassionate care, teach proper equipment use, verify benefits, and maintain HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced, field-based role across facilities and patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients in a timely, professional manner and train patients on equipment use.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and communicate financial responsibility.
• Process payments and ensure accurate paperwork and delivery tickets.
• Obtain signatures and maintain documentation; update driving directions as needed.
• Promote AdaptHealth products and services during sales/service rounds within hospitals and facilities.
• Coordinate with departments to optimize delivery and service efficiency.
