Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate Degree from an accredited college is preferred.
• One year of work related to health care, administrative, insurance, customer services, or management regardless of industry.
• The exact job experience considered must be DME, Diabetes, Incontinence Sales.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Teach the patient how to use and maintain their equipment.
• Initiate verification of patient insurance benefits.
• Communicate the patient’s financial responsibility and collect any amounts due using AdaptHealth tools.
• Process delivery tickets and related paperwork accurately.
• Promote products and services within hospitals and referral sources.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize delivery costs and improve service.
