Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC seeks a Patient Liaison to support patient care through equipment delivery, insurance verifications, billing communications, and on-site patient education. This role combines customer service with coordination among hospitals and patients to ensure timely, accurate delivery of home medical equipment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least one year in healthcare or admin, and a valid driver's license; experience with DME sales is a plus and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• One (1) year of work related to health care, administrative, insurance, customer services, or management required.
• DME, diabetes, incontinence sales experience is a plus.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies to patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Explain and teach patients how to use and maintain equipment; verify patient insurance benefits.
• Communicate patient financial responsibilities and collect amounts due using company tools.
• Promote products and services to health care professionals during sales and service rounds in hospital settings.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and other departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective service.
