Progressive Physical Therapy is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist for our Chatsworth location. You will be the first voice and face patients encounter, setting a warm, organized, and professional tone.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and HIPAA-compliant documentation. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year in a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a customer-facing or patient-facing role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Professional phone communication with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software familiarity.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, verification/authorization, calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals; update patient records; explain next steps.
• Keep patient flow moving: confirm appointments, manage waitlists, handle cancellations.
• Collect copays and balances; perform basic payment tracking when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all interactions and documentation.
