You will be the warm, professional first point of contact for patients, visitors, and referral sources, handling check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone calls.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided on EMR and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals, update patient records, explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow, confirm appointments, manage waitlists, and process cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and perform basic payment reconciliation.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions.
