Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family, seeks a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first voice and face for patients, setting a warm, organized tone from the initial call through every visit.

This fast-paced role handles check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and HIPAA compliance, with growth opportunities in clinic management and leadership across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical front desk or healthcare office preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments and handling waitlists.
• Collect copays and other payments accurately and maintain basic revenue tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
