Advanced Physical Therapy, a member of Confluent Health, seeks a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Park City team. You’ll be the first voice and face for patients, handling check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments in a warm, organized, and professional manner.

No healthcare background is required—comprehensive training including EMR navigation and scheduling workflows is provided, with clear opportunities for growth within the clinic leadership pipeline.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a customer-facing role or patient-facing role.
• Able to multi-task while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer skills; able to learn new systems and scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required — full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referrals.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals, update patient records, explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments with accuracy and professionalism.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions.
